There were skeptics when Bentley launched its first SUV, the Bentayga. The reality is that the vehicle has been very well received, even becoming one of the stars of the lineup. And because it's a utility model, it's important to us that it serves your needs without restraint.
That's why there's more than one version of the Bentayga. Let's take a look at how we've put it together to meet your needs.
Luxury
Let's get the luxury part out of the way. No Bentayga comes up short in that department. None at all. What you will find with the different variants are different approaches to the same theme. For example, you'll get aluminum sconces in one area while another model will offer wood trim. You always have a choice at Bentley and nothing is left to chance.
Four versions
Basically, there are four versions of the model: the base model, the Azure model, and the S and Speed variants.
With the entry-level model, you get a powerful V8 engine with 542 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. However, you have the option of going for a hybrid version of this powertrain. It delivers 443 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque at the combine, plus a range of 40 kilometers.
For more power, you have to climb to the top of the family to find the Speed model. It's powered by a 6.0-liter W12, a monster that delivers 626 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque on a silver platter. That's good enough for a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds. Impressive.
For sporty looks, with the base engine, the S version is the one you're going to want. And if opulence is your cup of tea, the Azure model is the one for you, because it adds every little detail imaginable that makes the experience with a Bentayga even richer. For example, you can still enjoy a seven-seat configuration with the Azure, but you can also enjoy a five-seat configuration, or even a four-seat configuration for an even richer experience.
Extended versions
And if there's not enough space with the regular models, you can always opt for the extended versions of the model. With them, two trim levels are suggested, the basic approach and the Azure preparation.
