Bentley delivers a Bentayga that pays tribute to Le Mans

In March 2025, Bentley collector and enthusiast Mark King received a unique model: a Bentayga Apex Edition signed by Mulliner, dressed in the emblematic colors of the Le Mans Collection. This exclusive model, limited to just 20 units worldwide, completes an already impressive personal collection. Intended exclusively for owners of the Continental GT or GT Convertible from the Le Mans Collection, this Bentayga stands out for its refined aesthetics and top-level performance.
Le Mans-inspired personalization
The Bentayga's exterior is finished in Verdant Green with Moonbeam racing stripes, identical to those on Mr. King's Continental GT Le Mans. The interior combines Beluga leather and Dinamica fabric, with contrasting red (Hotspur) stitching, creating a sporty yet elegant ambience. This special treatment was only available to customers who already owned a Le Mans Collection model, reinforcing the vehicle's exclusive character.
A family tradition of collecting
Originally from Northern Ireland, Mark King continues a family tradition of passion for prestige vehicles. Already the owner of a Bentayga Speed, a Continental GT3-R and a Continental Flying Spur, he uses his cars regularly, illustrating a sincere attachment to the brand. A Bentley owner since 2010, he frequently takes part in the brand's customer events, and didn't hesitate to order the Apex version of the Bentayga as soon as it was announced.
The Bentayga Apex Edition: performance and exclusivity
Based on the Bentayga S, this Apex model is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine developing 550 hp and 770 Nm of torque. It reaches 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and can accelerate to 290 km/h. The addition of the Bentley Dynamic Ride system and rear-wheel steering enhances handling, with a noticeable reduction in body roll.
This model is also distinguished by its 22-inch carbon wheels, which reduce unsprung mass by 44 kg, and its carbon-ceramic brakes, which guarantee powerful, constant braking. This performance-oriented Bentayga perfectly embodies the sporting spirit of the Le Mans Collection.
The Continental GT Le Mans: a tribute to the 2003 victory
The Continental GT from the Le Mans Collection, acquired by Mark King in 2023, celebrates the 20th anniversary of Bentley's victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2003. Its verdant green hue and black details recall the livery of the victorious Speed 8. Special features include a grille adorned with the number 7, 22-inch black wheels, ceramic brakes and a distinctive emblem of Bentley's six Le Mans victories.
The interior features a Bentley rotary display, revealing a display case containing an engine part from the 2003 Speed 8, an emotionally-charged nod to history for enthusiasts.
With this delivery, Bentley perpetuates its heritage by combining luxury, performance and automotive history. The Bentayga Apex Edition, a living tribute to the exploits of Le Mans, joins a private collection, while underlining enthusiasts' undying passion for British excellence.
