Here’s What Bentley Has Planned for Monterey Car Week 2025

Bentley is set to make a bold return to the 2025 Monterey Car Week, one of the world’s most prestigious automotive gatherings, attracting collectors and enthusiasts from across the globe. This year, the British marque is unveiling a diverse and carefully curated lineup of innovative concepts, refreshed production models, and meticulously restored historical icons. With several global and North American debuts on the agenda, Monterey once again confirms its status as a key stage for Bentley.

EXP 15 Concept: A Glimpse into Bentley’s Future

The highlight of this year’s showcase is the world premiere of the EXP 15, a design concept that will debut on the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Concept Lawn on August 17. Drawing inspiration from the legendary 1930s Speed Six “Blue Train”, the EXP 15 stretches over five metres in length, with a commanding grille, an elongated hood, and a set-back cabin. Its silhouette channels timeless elegance while hinting at Bentley’s future design direction.

Revamped Production Models

At The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, Bentley will present its latest-generation Continental GT, GTC, and Flying Spur models, both in their core and Azure trims. These updated vehicles now feature a high-performance hybrid powertrain, combining a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor, delivering a total output of 680 horsepower.

Attendees will also get a closer look at the Bentayga Speed—a 650-hp luxury SUV—and the new Batur Convertible by Mulliner. One standout debut is a shaded paint finish featured on the Continental GT Speed, which gradually transitions from front to back. This bespoke finish is now available through Bentley’s in-house customization program.

Experience Bentley Behind the Wheel

Beyond static displays, Bentley is offering exclusive test drives of its fourth-generation models throughout the week. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the brand’s unique blend of power, comfort, and cutting-edge technology along California’s scenic coastal roads.

Showcasing Craftsmanship

The “Home of Bentley” will return near Pebble Beach Lodge, serving as an immersive hub for the brand’s renowned craftsmanship. Guests can watch live demonstrations of leatherwork, wood finishing, and bespoke detailing. Designers will also be on hand to guide clients through the process of personalizing their own vehicle.

Celebrating Bentley’s Heritage

Bentley will bring a pair of historic icons to Monterey for the first time. The legendary 1930 Speed Six “Blue Train”, a car steeped in brand lore, will be seen both on the road and at the Home of Bentley. Joining it is the incredibly rare 1939 Mark V Corniche, painstakingly reconstructed using its original chassis and authentic parts after the original body was destroyed during WWII. Restored in-house for Bentley’s centenary in 2019, this one-off masterpiece will participate in the Tour d’Elegance and appear on the Concours d’Elegance lawn.

A Unique Auction for a Worthy Cause

Bentley will also unveil an unexpected piece: a handcrafted surfboard made in its workshop using Koa wood. This one-of-a-kind item will be auctioned by Bonhams, with proceeds going to SurfabilityUK, an inclusive surf school that makes the sport accessible to individuals with physical or neurological conditions.

Tradition, Innovation, and Purpose

With a lineup that masterfully blends heritage, innovation, and social responsibility, Bentley’s 2025 Monterey Car Week presence promises to be as diverse as it is inspiring. From global debuts to artisan showcases and historical tributes, the program is designed to captivate vintage car aficionados and modern luxury seekers alike—offering something special for every kind of automotive enthusiast on California’s iconic coast.
