Effortless performance in the new Bentley Bentayga Speed
The Bentley Bentayga Speed is powered by a refined and exquisitely crafted 6.0-litre W12 12-cylinder engine that delivers 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. This level of performance allows the new Bentayga Speed to reach 100 km/h in just 3,9 seconds, making it one of the most powerful premium sport utility vehicles you can buy. It also has a top speed of 190 mph or 306 km/h. On the other hand, the Bentayga is head and shoulders over its competition when it comes to comfort, luxury, and driving dynamics.
The behavior of the Bentayga Speed can be adjusted via four on-road Drive Dynamics mode including Comfort, Sport, and the Bentley mode which sets the parameters to the exact specifications recommended by the engineers who built the Bentayga. There’s also a Custom mode to adjust the individual settings to the driver’s preferred response.
The W12 engine features cylinder deactivation when its full power is not needed by shutting down six of the 12 cylinders in a complex manner that is imperceptible to the driver. In 5th to 8th gears, when the throttle is released, the Bentayga Speed will open the torque converter which will put the engine on idle in order to improve efficiency.
The Bentayga Speed gets an exclusive interior featuring unique details and stunning Alcantara trim. The Speed gets a unique color split that combines darker hues by primary hide accents found across the interior. There are 15 interior color options while the exterior is available in 17 standard shades with a further 47 hues available through the Extended and Mulliner programs. A 10.9-inch screen hides a cutting edge infotainment system.
