Bentley re-imagines its first SUV with a new engine and capabilities. It teaches us how limits are just temporary barriers and that creativity has no boundaries. When all other SUVs are just too conventional, the Bentayga is the right candidate to take their place. How the new Bentley Bentayga outperforms the competition
The new Bentayga has a new eight-cylinder engine with twin-scroll turbochargers that create 542 bhp and 568 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a precisely designed 8-speed automatic transmission that sends the power to the four wheels. This is at the heart of a unique driving experience of the Bentayga. This Bentayga is more powerful than the Cayenne Turbo, which peaks at 533 bhp. The Bentayga also takes you from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 290 km/h, which surpasses the Cayenne Turbo’s top speed of 286 km/h.
Despite its aggressive road performance, the Bentayga achieves a combined fuel consumption rating of 13.3 L/100 km. The Cayenne Turbo rates at a higher combined fuel consumption rating of 14.1 L/100 km. Despite having the same engine type, the Bentayga’s added technologies result in much better efficiency.
The Bentayga takes on the challenge of unfamiliar terrains with the same intelligence as the open road. It climbs your favourite hills and mountains, performing at up to 35° lateral and longitudinal angles. However, the Cayenne Turbo only delivers 21°.
The Bentayga’s 22" wheels also provide a better look and more performance than the Cayenne Turbo’s 21" wheels. The advanced AWD system allows the Bentayga to sense the surface and send the right power to wheels that need them, giving you the confidence to enjoy more trails.
Make the new Bentley Bentayga your own
Every Bentayga interior is carefully handcrafted, and Bentley offers dramatic styling with its standard specification. It is the only SUV that also offers four, five or seven seat configurations. You won’t find this opportunity with the Cayenne Turbo.
