Read moreOrdering a new Bentley is a momentous event, something that many people dream about and work towards, sometimes even using the prospect to fuel their motivation. Placing an order for such a unique vehicle isn’t so different from another vehicle when it comes to the process itself, but the attention to detail that encompasses the ordering process is unique and unforgettable.
A major part of the event itself is the customer service, explains Wesley Rehel, Bentley and Aston Martin Sales Consultant.
“We try to make everything perfect for the client, and really make the event as enjoyable as possible. It’s a unique moment after all, and everyone is excited. We want to preserve that feeling throughout”.
The level of customization available on a new Bentley vehicle, whether it’s the Continental, Bentayga, or new Flying Spur is truly remarkable and Decarie Motors wants to extend that personalization to the client relationship, Wesley says.
“I form relationships with my clients that sometimes extend beyond the dealership setting. Many of my clients have become friends. Sometimes, I have clients visit just to chat. We will sit down and have a coffee and talk”.
The idea is to create an environment that is up to the standards of the vehicles being ordered. As for the actual vehicle ordered, some clients know exactly what they want, and others want to see the possibilities offered to them.
“I would say that most of our clients know what they want or have a general idea, but sometimes we start from scratch. We have every interior and exterior color on display in samples here, and we take the time needed to find the right combination. That’s a big part of the experience”, according to Wesley Rehel who often refers to his work as a dream career.
“I enjoy learning about our clients, their journey, and what matters to them. I love every second I spend with a client”.
Once the colors and features have been customized, it takes a few months for the vehicle to arrive, but the delays are far from what can be expected from a premium brand. Orders taking more than six months are rare and vehicles that take more than a year to arrive are almost inexistent, unless they are heavily personalized.
Bentley’s Mulliner division can create just about anything the buyer desires. Wesley Rehel tells the story of one customer who wanted their vehicle painted to match a nair polish color.
“We painted the nail of an associate who flew to Crewe to show them the color sample, and a few months later the car was here. The client was thrilled”.
Bentley Montreal also has a number of Bentley units in stock its new and stunning showroom for buyers who do not want to wait, although Wesley says most clients configure their vehicle to their taste.
“Ordering a Bentley is similar to any other vehicle on paper and in process, except with a much greater attention to customer service, customization, and meeting the needs of the buyer”.
